Introduction / Overview
Our Money Matters: Financial Literacy and Young Entrepreneur Programme helps children and young people develop essential life skills in money management, budgeting, and entrepreneurship. Delivered in partnership with Powells Jewellery (Chester), the Careers Hub – The Pledge, STEM Learning UK, and Chester on a Plate Tours, the programme builds financial confidence and creativity through real-world learning experiences.

Why It Matters
Many young people leave school without practical financial skills. This programme fills that gap by combining financial literacy with enterprise education, helping students build confidence, creativity, and career readiness. It supports the Gatsby Benchmarks and local priorities identified by the Cheshire & Warrington Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP).
